Structural response of the resilient 500t-grade armor under varrying impact time

In partnership with a defence-oriented collaborator from Ukraine, our project delved into the intricate dynamics of a 10kg TNT detonation's impact on 6mm armour, employing advanced ANSYS Explicit Dynamics simulations. Through rigorous analysis, we meticulously explored the deformation patterns and structural response of the resilient 500t-grade armour under different impact time. this comprehensive study offers invaluable insights, empowering defence professionals with crucial data to bolster protective measures and endure the safety of personnel in volatile environments.
